Version 0.4.0 (2020-11)

The Vividl project participated in this year's Hacktoberfest, a month-long event on GitHub every October to encourage and promote contributions to open-source software development. With the start of Hacktoberfest in early October, we asked for help with translation of this app to other languages. This new version includes all Hacktoberfest contributions of the last month.

In total, Vividl received 10 pull requests by 10 different contributors. These contributions added translations for 9 languages, with updates for 2 more. The newly added languages are:

  • Hebrew
  • Polish
  • Welsh
  • Portuguese
  • Arabic
  • French
  • Dutch
  • Swedish

Also make sure to read about the recent unjustified takedown of youtube-dl, the tool which Vividl uses in the background. The included youtube-dl version has been updated to 2020.11.01.1.
