Version 0.10.0 (2026-03)

A new version of Vividl has been released today. The main changes include integrating support for external JS runtimes for yt-dlp, which are now required for downloading from YouTube. See here for technical details. Additionally, Vividl now automatically checks for ffmpeg updates. Configuration for both changes can be found under Settings-> Application (scroll down). The new update is now available for download via SourceForge and Chocolatey (see links below).

  • New: Package and allow configuruation of JS runtime (now required for YouTube downloads)
  • Fixed: Apply format selection for audio downloads (MP3/M4A)

The included yt-dlp version has been updated to 2026.03.03.
